IN BROAD DAYLIGHT

Those who break the law usually do it in the dark, in a clandestine way or with distractions or cunning.  Those were the "good old days" of thieves who respected daylight.

Today, and for the past almost five years , we have witnessed a new kind of evil, bold, in your face, catch me if you can arrogance which has gone mostly unchallenged by those we've entrusted to look out for our well being.  This evil force seems determined to destroy our country from within while we spend our time and money searching for the enemy in foreign lands.  By chasing foreign foes, they have distracted us from their agenda here at home.

There is no danger greater than losing our freedoms.  Any risk is worth keeping them intact because once they are "temporarily" surrendered, they will never be recovered.  Like taxes leveled during "emergencies" which are never repealed.  We surrender freedom to protect ourselves from terrorists who want to take it from us.  Does that make sense? There is greater safety from the foreign enemy when we minimize opportunities for domestic tyrants to corrupt our liberty.  "Give me liberty or give me death." is a dramatic proclamation but mine is, "Give me liberty or I'll give YOU death"!
