CONSCIENCE

Our conscience is developed through learning concepts of behavior, distinguishing right from wrong, good and bad and choices based upon whatever and/or whoever influences our development.  No one is BORN with a conscience.

We wonder today at some of what we think are "unexplainable" actions and incidents based upon what our consciences tell us is right our wrong.  Wonder no longer.  The conscience, our editor, when developed in a godless home and society, accept nearly anything as "good".  After all, "who are you to tell me what is right or wrong?  I can do anything my way".  With that kind of conscience, there is no editing like there is for most of us.  The difference is early religious learning.  Even if people stray from formal religious institutions later in life, the conscience has been formed.

We cannot expect our PUBLIC schools to instill a good conscience in our children because teachers, even if they know, are not permitted to discuss these kinds of things.  The secularists have seen to that.
Unless you don't care what choices your kids will make, they must be informed, right from the very beginning of life, of the reasons for some things being right or wrong or good and bad.  Sometimes, as adults, those who are not trained early will "see the light" but more often than not, most will never get it.

A good conscience compels good behavior for most of us.  It does, in most cases anyhow, keep us on the straight and narrow.  Without a conscience, no act, no matter how horrible, will stir any emotion in you.
