"THE ORDINARY PEOPLE"

I'm not the smartest guy in the world, I hate to admit that publicly, but I resent it when people I KNOW are not as smart as I am imply, by the way they speak , that I'm stupid. 

The current administration must think we are all pretty dumb.  Their feeble attempts to disguise what everyone knows is the truth with  "Washington speak" galls me. What is a "man made disaster"? "Revenue enhancement"?  There are other similar "language disasters".

A"man made disaster"is actually a "Muslim terrorist attack".  The administration doesn't seem to be able to distinguish between a terrorist who just happens to be a Muslim or anything else and a terrorist who is a terrorist BECAUSE he is a Muslim.  No one accuses all Muslims of being terrorists, but those who are, base their terrorist actions on their Muslim beliefs.  That makes them "Muslim terrorists". 

In the good old days, we knew we were being taxed when they levied "taxes".  That was clear and straightforward.  The current administration doesn't tax us, they "ENHANCE REVENUE".  Trust me, that doesn't mean they do something to revenue to make it prettier or better, it does mean they will raise your taxes.

Euphemisms are appropriate to make things appear to be not as bad as they seem, but in this case, it is a clear attempt to  obfuscate the truth from  "ordinary people". When people  are dishonest with words, it reveals a belief they are superior to those they are trying to fool and that we will not know the true meaning.   A real "man made disaster" is heading their way in November of 2012!
