Most younger people feel sorry for or smirk when old timers do "funny" things. Although in real life I am at the age when memory stumbles and words escape my mouth almost without my consent, I don't think I really qualify as having "lost it". However, when I look at my blog stats and review my comments page and find none, I realize my blog is talking to itself. That's OK because I read it and enjoy agreeing with myself.
When I began this foolishness, it was for something to do but I did hope someone would argue with me about some of my points and sometimes even agree and compliment me on my efforts. Not to be. Talking to yourself must be a symptom of something, especially when you continue to do it when you realize you are. To prove to any of you who might happen to see this that I am not senile, I'm going to abandon this effort and listen instead of talking for awhile.
As I write this, sunset is just beginning and even though I am not on horseback, please, visualise me riding away into the sunset on a beautiful horse, looking back at you, smiling and waving my hat and saying, "I'll be back".

I am all for talking to yourself....sometimes it's the only intelligent conversation you may have that day. I LOVE your Blogs...people may not leave many comments, but I can't believe they walk away without thinking...
I read all your blogs and share them all. I know many people who read your blogs but can't comment without signing in.
