To me, "LIBERTY" is a strong word. It implies self reliance, a willingness to defend your opinions against all odds and to make your own choices, right or wrong, and a willingness to accept the consequences without trying to shift the blame. That is not what "liberty" has become.
Liberty has been diluted. All the "tolerance" advocates have convinced too many people that they are no longer allowed to have unpopular opinions and they cannot criticize individuals or groups who promote activities you object to on principle religious or a personal basis. If we cannot discriminate on any basis, there is no need for intelligence, convictions and reason, just follow orders. We have, to some extent, become a nation of compliant robots.
Defending "liberty" is in itself an act which is allowed and demanded by liberty. We are free to defend our liberty at ALL costs. It is our RIGHT and duty.
