DUMBER AND DUMBER

Political correctness has run amok in a land where free people actually believe in freedom.  People, free or enslaved, are not always sensible and in touch with reality. 

There is a growing list of words, phrases, references, caricatures, parody, art and other forms of expression which are being suppressed.  Some, in truth, can be insensitive depending upon the way they are used.  Where their use is intended to insult, ridicule, diminish or injure a person or persons, they of course should be discouraged.  Most are used in a manner which offends only the abnormally sensitive people.

I have to say that those trying to eliminate these expressions show a low level of common sense. This is a test.  If I say, "The N-word", or "F-WORD" what do you hear?  If your translator is working, you heard the words they don't want you to hear.  Isn't that a brilliant way to avoid use of the word!!

Just as "N's, "D's, "M's", "S's" all use the words among themselves and about each other in a friendly, joking way, most do not object.  It's only the phony elite who believe they can control people and their language who think these expressions are inherently evil.  There are many implements and devices on this earth which are good but can be used in evil ways but they are not banned.  As in many things, it is the intent that determines the character of the deed.  The road to hell is NOT lined with good intentions.  It IS lined with bad behavior.
