HAIR

If the evolutionists are right, at one time our bodies were completely covered with hair.  I suppose it served a purpose.  Today we have hair, most of us, only in several places on our bodies.  As hard as I try, I can find no vital purpose for hair.  An absence of hair doesn't make us ill and it won't change our physical or mental abilities and it won't kill us.  Actually, in some circumstances a lack of hair is an advantage.  Even where we do have hair, we are continually removing it or reducing its length or thickness, So, why hair?

When you consider all the time and money we spend doing things to our hair, it seems that we really would be better off without it.  Hair care products, the effort and time required to apply or use them, the danger in removing ear and nose hair, haircuts and styling- whew, is it worth it? 

Hair grows from little thingies buried in our skin.  Where some do not have hair, they have "transplants.  I wonder if instead of hair transplants we could seed the head with some kind of flower seeds.  I wouldn't mind have a head of roses.  But then you'd have to water and prune them so it would still be a lot of work.

In the end, the usefulness of hair is in doubt.  Even knowing that, most people would rather have it than not.
