When unwanted pregnancies occur, men always want to blame the woman and it is the woman who suffers. This chauvinistic attitude has now entered the "Official Government Policy" arena.
The Obamacare official position is that to prevent unwanted pregnancies, women are to be given access to free birth control devices and drugs. This not only implies it is their responsibility to prevent pregnancies, since men don't also have that benefit, but it shows a total disregard for the risk and dangers inherent in many of these products. Officially endorsing their use by mandating their inclusion would lead many to believe that they are safe and do not have health risks of their own.
I think most of us would say that unwanted pregnancies can be avoided in other ways by responsible people and that irresponsible people will likely not change their ways. Even though the intent may be "noble", since I heard no mention of age limitations, it may lead to even more promiscuity among young girls and more unintended pregnancies.
