WHOSE COUNTRY IS IT?

When the Federal government and the courts are more concerned with the rights of non-citizens than the rights of citizens, there is something wrong.  Any State whose borders coincide with international borders have equal rights and duties as the Federal government concerning that border because of the sovereignty of the States.  It can be compared to a citizen being attacked and there is no cop in sight.  Should he stand there or defend himself?  If the cop were there, the citizen would be happy to let him handle it but since there is no one, he must defend himself.

The wisdom and constitutionality of the Arizona law is so obvious that the Court's ruling seems almost to have been negotiated, something for everyone.  It's almost as though they are trying to soften the blow if they rule against Obamacare.  If Obama were to lose both cases, you can bet the race card would be played as it has been so often.  A black person can criticize a white president but a white person MUST be a racist if they criticize a black president.

What hurts most is that we, the people, have no recourse.  With a corrupt justice system there is no one to challenge those officials who refuse to enforce laws they don't agree with.  It's their job! Even a congressional finding referred to the justice department could not compel legal action.  We see that now in the contempt charges, criminal and civil, against  Holder, the top lawman in the country.

We are witnessing how dictators take over countries without most people noticing.  As one of our founders observed, "they begin demagogues and finish tyrants".

What do you think, or do you?
