KNOW IT ALL

Everything we know today was not known from the beginning.  Before the first thing "man" learned, everything he knew must have been "built in".  Imagine that.  A being with NO knowledge but able to function.  How do you suppose that illogical event happened?

Over the years, man has discovered much about the world about him.  Each generation adding to what their predecessors had learned.  The beginning was a gradual accumulation of knowledge but the last hundred years have been phenomenal!  How is it that all these truths, hidden in the universe, went undetected for so long?  How is it that once we learned certain things, that knowledge released an avalanche of new truths?  Everything which we know now is quite impressive but, at the same time, obviously there is much more to know.

The question now becomes, "Is it possible to know all there is to know and, if so, how would we know that if we reached that point?" Is knowledge finite or infinite?  The most likely answer is that it is infinite and anything which is infinite is illogical in that everything we know has a beginning and an end.  Infinity, having no end, can have no earthly reality.  This leaves us once again at the end of a logical exercise which forces us to acknowledge that there is an endless existence which has no material existence.  What our relationship to the unknowable is, is something each of us must create for themselves.
