HATE

I know that those who want to sissify America hate the word "HATE".  Isn't that a kick in the head?   Our emotions are natural and even though we have to learn to control them to some extent, there are times when it is valid and necessary to express them.  Do you hate the Devil?

Is it hate speech if you tell someone you hate them or do you have to say or do something hateful for it to count?  If you say you hate them but don't tell them why, does that qualify as hate speech?  You can see that this is a complicated question.

Sometimes you say you hate someone but if you examined the feeling more closely, it might turn out to be "highly dislike".  This sounds like there are different levels of hate, you know, like the polls, "strongly agree", "agree somewhat", "strongly disagree".  At the same time hate could have a duration.  You could hate just for the moment, for a short period of time or permanently.  Permanent hate is the worst because after some time you may forget why you hate the person.

My head is starting to hurt so I think I'll end this now.  I hate to stop because this has been so much fun.  Remember, it's OK to hate as long as you don't mean it.
