IT HURTS GOOD

Most of us are pretty much fed up with the tone of  political campaigns and the mudslinging of the parties against each other.  Last night O'Reilly asked Sarah Palin what she thought of this situation and how it felt, especially since she had been the target of vicious, personal attacks against her and her family during the last presidential election.  He asked if she thought it hurt the party.

Governor Palin gave a good answer but an even better one would have been that the attacks showed the fear of and respect the opponents have for their target.  No one attacks a nobody.  The interpretation of the attacks would be one that should be flattering and encouraging to the target and reassure the person that they are on the right track.
