BABIES

Everybody loves a baby!  What is it about a baby that makes everyone smile and feel happy.  I don't ever see a baby and not want to hold it. Each precious baby may not be the hope of the world but they make us, the parents especially, better people.

A baby is the passing of our lives on to another generation to preserve God's creation.  He can't keep creating new people so he gave us that job.  A baby is the result of our partnership with Him in procreation.  A baby is closer to God, having just come down from Heaven, than other humans.  That's why they are more angelic then than when they are older.  Our babies are us.

I am certain that not many parents have not been amazed at the beauty and joy babies bring us. I'm equally certain, that for reasons beyond my comprehension, even some of those who have enjoyed that experience, support the destruction of babies before they are born.  Since it is not practical for us to be born as adults, each part of the process of our becoming adults contains the same life from beginning to end.  The life in our adult bodies does not magically appear from thin air, it has been there from the beginning.
